A law firm’s website that the team edits itself.
Yanev, Tomov & Partners is a law firm in Varna. We built its website on a custom theme and we look after it. In October 2026 we made it faster, easier to use with a screen reader, and added descriptions for Google.
Pages put together from ready blocks.
The theme was written for this site only. It has 14 custom blocks for the WordPress editor: a hero banner, the team, practice areas, services, client reviews, partners, the “How we work” steps, contacts with a map and more. The firm’s team arranges and edits the pages itself, without a page builder.
Services, lawyers and reviews are separate kinds of content. Each service sits under “For business”, “For individuals” or both, and visitors filter the list with one button. A practice area appears on the home page as soon as its page is published.

01Pages served readyThe site keeps its pages ready and sends them compressed. The theme’s scripts load when the visitor starts using the page; the cookie banner works straight away.

02The opening photoThe large photo on the home page loads first, in a size that fits the screen.

03Lighter fontsWe removed the characters the site never uses: fonts fell from 1.2 MB to 0.6 MB, and the letters look the same. While the font loads, the text no longer jumps.

04AccessibilityStronger text contrast, headings in the right order, and labels on links and icons, so the site also works with a screen reader.

05Descriptions for GoogleDescriptions for 42 pages, services and articles. We hid four empty pages, and their old addresses lead to the list of services.
What the measurements showed.
On a phone, the home page’s main content typically appears after 2.1 s. Before the changes it took 8.9 s.

The new values are from 5 Lighthouse tests on a simulated phone on 12 October 2026. “Typically” is the middle value of the five. We have maintained the site since launch.
WordPress and its plugins regularly come out in new versions that close security gaps and fix bugs. A site that is not updated becomes vulnerable over time, and parts of it stop working.
So we update the site regularly. Before each update we take a backup, and after it we check the site for errors. If an update breaks something, we restore the previous version.
