The online shop of Tsvetna Poshta.
Tsvetna Poshta is a small flower studio in Plovdiv that delivers bouquets and boxed flowers. We built the online shop on a ready theme the client chose, and we look after it. In September 2026 we improved its speed and added titles and descriptions for Google.
Every page loaded more than it needed.
The home page made 146 requests. Every page loaded 183 KB of styles for a plugin that was not in use. On a phone, the bouquet photo on a product page took 9.4 seconds to appear.
How we improved the shop.
-
01Loading extra features when neededWe delayed loading 40–50 scripts per page until the visitor starts using the page. The cart and checkout are left out of it and work as before.
-
02Fewer filesWe combined the styles: from 54–65 files per page to 25–29.
-
03An unused plugin switched offWe switched off the unused plugin and saved 183 KB on every page.
-
04Lighter fonts and logoIcons no longer load as a font: fonts fell from about 390 to about 195 KB, and the logo from 42 to 18 KB.
-
05Titles and descriptions for GoogleTitles and descriptions on 14 pages and 27 products, and descriptions for 27 photos.

| Home: main content appears after | 8.4 s | 5.3 s typically 5.5 s |
| Home: speed score (out of 100) | 63 | up to 74 typically 72 |
| Home: requests | 146 | 59 |
The new values are from 5 Lighthouse tests on 1 October 2026. "Typical" is the middle value of the five measurements. The earlier ones are from 25 September 2026, ahead of the speed changes. Results depend on the test conditions and are not a measurement of real customers’ visits. Check the site in PageSpeed Insights →
We carry on with maintenance.
WordPress, the theme and the plugins regularly come out in new versions that close security gaps and fix bugs. A site that is not updated becomes vulnerable over time, and parts of it stop working.
So we update the shop regularly. Before each update we take a backup, and after it we check the site for errors. If an update breaks something, we restore the previous version.
We keep working on the next speed improvements.
