The website of Dr Miroslav Georgiev.
We built the site and carried on with its maintenance after launch. In September 2026 we worked on its speed and on the information for patients.
From a ready design to a site for patients.
The practice sees patients in Varna and Kavarna. The client chose a ready theme and we built the site on it.
In September we set out to make it load faster. In the earlier test the main content appeared after 19.8 seconds on a simulated mobile connection. The background video was a 56 MB file.
The changes in September 2026.
-
01An easier start to the pageWe replaced the rotating banner with a heading and two buttons: book a visit, and call. We kept the background video and reduced the file to 2.6 MB.
-
02More information about the servicesWe rewrote the service pages and added 43 questions and answers across 9 pages. We also prepared the titles and descriptions that Google can show in its results.
-
03Contact form and a new serverThe form shows a confirmation after a message is sent. We moved the site to our own server and kept the page addresses.
What the measurements showed.
The main content appears after 7.8 seconds in the typical result of the new tests. The earlier measurement is 19.8 seconds.
| Measure | Before | After the changes |
|---|---|---|
| Main content appears | 19.8 s | 6.1 s typically 7.8 s |
| Data loaded with the page | 17 MB | 3.7 MB |
| Size of the video file | 56 MB | 2.6 MB |
| Speed score out of 100 | 71 | up to 68 typically 64 |
The content appears sooner, but the overall speed score is lower. There is more work to do on loading.
The new values are from 5 Lighthouse tests on 1 October 2026. "Typical" is the middle value of the five measurements. The earlier ones are from 25 September 2026, ahead of the speed changes. Results depend on the test conditions and are not a measurement of real patients’ visits. The size of the video file is separate from the data loaded during the test. We carry on with maintenance.
WordPress, the theme and the plugins regularly come out in new versions that close security gaps and fix bugs. A site that is not updated becomes vulnerable over time, and parts of it stop working.
So we update the site regularly. Before each update we take a backup, and after it we check the site for errors. If an update breaks something, we restore the previous version.
The effect of the changes on being found on Google needs a longer period. We will add a comparison when there is enough data.
